To load Windows 10 on your laptop or desktop PC You would use a USB Flash drives ( DVD drive if you're computer which is older )
So firstly you need to go on to google then enter download windows 10 and download Windows 10 to your USB Flash drive
You would click on download tool now Windows 10 you will come to a prompt where it asks you to load onto USB stick or DVD (create media installation) so you would click that and download it The USB flash drive should have at least 8GB of space on it that's free - I use 16 gig
keep following all the prompts questions such as language etc choose 64 Bit (2000 upwards PCs )
Once you have Windows 10 on your USB drive Then load that on to your or laptop or desktop and some point in the future you will need to get the license and activate windows message for the Windows 10 copy which you can buy on on Facebook marketplace or to kijiii quite cheap I've seen some go for about $30
if you go to a big computer store this could cost you nearly $200
However you can still use the operating system all you will see is a message at the bottom of the screen saying you need to get the license
Installing Windows 10
So then you can put the USB pen drive into your computer and load the Windows 10 You have the option to simply upgrade from your current operating system or do a full install which is a little more involving and will delete all your files be careful
If your computer is faulty and doesn't start and there's problems with it you will have to go into the bios and Change the boot settings there so that PC will boot From the USB drive with Win 10 on it
To get into bios most machines you switch off and then switch back on again and as it's booting up You will have to continuously push down and either delete or F1 or F2 to get you to get you into the bios ( check makes and models all different)
when in bios (basic input output) it is a very basic stripped down OS that lets technicians do their magic to fix and diagnose system problems and settings - please be aware you have to really know what your doing in this mode and can mess up a system that may end up not booting up at all if wrong function chosen !
when in bios There are commands for security settings , boot orders, hardrive info , memory etc - to navigate around is not easy all keyboard no mouse !
Watch Video above and below it explains step by step very good
RECOVERY PARTITION ON YOUR PC
Hello folks this information is quite important for your Desktop PC or Laptop if something goes faulty or wonky on your PC you can fix by going into the Recovery mode.
Pretty much every PC or Laptop manufactured since 2000 has a recovery partition installed on your computer which is basically a copy of the current windows version for your computer make and model, it also contains all the drivers to make that computer work properly such as screen graphics sound cards etc .
To access or activate this recovery partition you would reboot your PC then pressing delete or F-1 F-2 ( every computer is different) - You will then see a screen informing you are in the recovery partition and asks if you want proceed - you would answer yes and keep going following all the prompts and boxes
When doing its important to know that this procedure will wipe all your files and data and of course all the nasty viruses and or spyware that your trying to get rid of in first place
Now this does not work all the time as the copy of windows stored in recovery partition can become corrupt or non working after some time - ive seen this happened . So in that case just take a Windows 8 - 10 or 11 USB Drive and Reinstall Windows and then later if necessary all the sound drivers etc you would download from manufacturer technical help website ( please note if your PC Laptop older it may Not handle Windows 11 file size)
The Reset mode would apply to most major Cell phones doing essentially same thing except there is a pinhole on side of phone to insert paper clip or pin hold in for 10 20 seconds and that wipes the whole phone and/or Reboots phone - To wipe phone go into settings and Reset from there (will wipe all pictures files data on your phone)
Please note the Recovery do not confuse with BIOS that is another thing all together the only similarity is the access ( see above )
